Government apologises to Thalidomide survivors for hardship endured as enhanced support package agreed

The government has apologised to thalidomide survivors for the hardship they have endured, in a letter written to them today.

The letter comes after the government was this afternoon updated on an enhanced package of health for survivors during the cabinet meeting.
