‘Cheaper than a childminder’ – but cost of kids’ camps stacks up for busy parents over summer holidays

Summer activity camps are a godsend for working parents with schools closed and childcare options drying up over the holidays.

However, a survey of parents by the Irish Independent has found many baulk at the cost of the camps, which can vary from as little as €50 to as much as €395 per child for a week.
