Pros outweigh cons for min-till – despite my struggles to establish spring crops

It is great to see all the spring work being completed around the country. Sowing began here on April 23 and an astonishing amount of work was done in the space of three weeks. The good weather was worth waiting for.

I have 35ac of beans in total so I’m hoping for some good weather at the end of September! Spring barley was sown in good conditions and is up and looking great. It was sown in the end of April and has made some great progress.
