The effects of this autumn’s wet weather are far-reaching. Autumn planting is well behind target and this will have consequences in terms of grain and straw production next harvest.

Adding to the challenge is the pressure of dealing with a larger-than-planned area of spring crops to sow and harvest, and the pressure this brings to complete a vast amount of work in a short time-frame.
