If two-thirds of the membership of an organisation turns up for an AGM and the hotel has to ask them to clear the room five hours later, either it is doing very well or maybe there are serious problems and there won’t be many more meetings.

BASE Ireland marked its 10th anniversary at its AGM this month without a cross word spoken, but the meeting ran well over time and there was still plenty of debate going on hours later.
