Dairygold is calling on the Government to seek a four-year delay to any decision on the Nitrates Derogation to allow time for the impact of sustainability measures on water quality be seen.

It comes as Tirlán and Lakeland Dairies also raised concerns last week about the impact of the potential loss of the derogation on the sector.
