The European Commission is not interested in the economic or social impact of the successes created by the Irish dairy industry, instead giving more merit to water quality and the environment, ICOS has warned.
“We need to improve water quality, that is the key message that I take home from Brussels,” EU Affairs and Communications Manager, Damien O’Reilly, told Bord Bia’s Dairy Markets Seminar in Naas.
