According to farming organisations, the devil will be in the detail and there is huge uncertainty over what the impact on farming will be in many parts of the country
The European Parliament voted to carry the Nature Restoration Law by 329 to 275 votes last week, with 24 abstentions.
Such a tight margin reflects the unsure ground many politicians in Europe are standing on at the moment.
