There was an interesting comment made by one of the speakers at the Positive Farmers conference about the ‘organic versus grass-fed’ debate.

Jim Bergin of Tirlán essentially told the assembled dairy farmers they had no interest in developing an organic line of dairy products because the ‘grass-fed’ Irish label still had more brand recognition with consumers, especially in the lucrative American market.
