The Dry review: Why I’m happy to abstain from the second season of this Irish comedy-drama

Sober one minute, silly the next, the shifts in tone are even more jarring this time around

There are plenty of reasons why someone might not get along with a particular television series.

It could be something as simple as not being in the right mood at the right time, or they could be suffering from TV overload. As Jane Austen might say were she still here, “It is a truth universally acknowledged that there’s just too much television for any one person to watch and remain sane.”
