Fair City gardaí more like Inspector Clouseau in their hunt for Laura’s killer

Once a soap has been trundling along for a few decades, all possible permutations of plot have been thoroughly exhausted, so looking for realism in Fair City (RTÉ One, Tuesday, 8pm) at this stage is probably as futile as expecting laughs from Mrs Brown’s Boys.
Even by its usual far-fetched standards, though, the current “Who killed Laura?” story is daft.
