This season focuses on the love story between Penelope Featherington, played by Nicola Coughlan, and Colin Bridgerton, played by Luke Newton –also dubbed “Polin”.

Bridgerton occupy two places in the Top 10 most popular Netflix titles of all time based on views in their first 91 days.

Season 1 is the fourth most-streamed season, securing more than 115 million views. Meanwhile, season 2 is ninth with more than 93 million views.

Wallflower Penelope Featherington has been putting pen to paper for three seasons now as the anonymous local gossip spreader – Lady Whistledown.

In the new season, Penelope decides it’s time to find a husband, but lacking confidence, Penelope’s attempts on the marriage mart fail.

Meanwhile, Colin has returned from his summer travels and is disheartened to realise that Penelope is giving him the cold shoulder.

Eager to win back her friendship, Colin offers to mentor Penelope to help her find a husband this season. But when his lessons start working a little too well, Colin must grapple with whether his feelings for Penelope are truly just friendly.

Complicating matters for Penelope is her rift with former friend Eloise Bridgerton, played by Claudia Jessie, while Penelope’s growing presence in the town makes it all the more difficult to keep her Lady Whistledown alter ego a secret.

Four episodes due to air tonight are titled “Tick Tock”, “Romancing Mister Bridgerton”, “Joining of Hands”, and “Into the Light”.
