Chris Hammer was a journalist for more than 30 years, dividing his career between covering Australian federal politics and international affairs. His hugely praised novels include his debut, Scrublands, which won the CWA New Blood Dagger Award and recently aired on TV’s BBC Four. His new novel, Cover the Bones, was just published by Wildfire.
