Internet and phone provider Eir has been ordered to reinstate a former worker after forcing him to retire at age 65, in what looks like a landmark case. While Eir is understood to be appealing the decision, what rights do other workers have in similar situations?

There is none, except for full-time firefighters (55), gardaí (60), GPs (72, though they can continue in private practice after that age) and public servants (between 66 and 70, depending on when they joined). The state pension kicks in from age 66.
