Former Revolut and Tesla executives are planning to buy and build renewable-energy projects in Ireland with their Fuse Energy business, which made its debut in the UK last year, the Irish Independent has learned.

The company, founded by former Revolut chief revenue office Alan Chang and its ex-head of strategy, Charles Orr, raised $78m (€74m) in seed backing in 2022 from investors including Balderton Capital and Lakestar.
