Emma Raducanu has explained why she pulled out of mixed doubles with Andy Murray.

Emma Raducanu has blamed a stiff wrist for pulling out of her mixed doubles tie with Andy Murray which consequently brings the curtain down on his Wimbledon career. Murray is set to retire at the Olympic Games this summer so this fortnight has been his last Wimbledon campaign.

The three-time Grand Slam winner was forced to withdraw from the singles draw on Tuesday due to injury.

He competed in the men's doubles alongside brother Jamie on Friday and was given an emotional ceremony on Centre Court following his loss.

Murray was scheduled to play mixed doubles with Raducanu late on Saturday night.

But Raducanu, who is through to the fourth round of the singles draw, pulled out of the mixed doubles because of a stiff wrist.
