Manchester United are among the clubs interested in signing Dan Ndoye this summer, the Bologna winger's agent has revealed. And INEOS chiefs have reportedly launched talks over a potential deal after an impressive season for the Serie A outfit and Euro 2024 campaign with Switzerland.

United are said to be closing in on the £34million signing of Bologna striker Joshua Zirkzee, adding much-needed firepower to Erik ten Hag's attack.

But Zirkzee's attacking partner has reportedly emerged as a genuine target in what is shaping up to be a hectic summer at Old Trafford.

According to The Sun, United have held talks, and Bologna want £21m to part ways with Ndoye, who has operated on the right wing, as a striker or in central midfield.

The 23-year-old featured in all five of Switzerland's Euro 2024 games, scoring in a 1-1 draw against Germany and setting up Breel Embolo's opener in the narrow quarter-final defeat to England.

He will have already been on United's radar, having previously played for INEOS' other clubs, Switzerland's Lausanne-Sport and Ligue 1 side OGC Nice.

Ndoye scored three goals and provided five assists in 38 Bologna appearances last season after joining from FC Basel for £7m, helping Thiago Motta's men qualify for the Champions League.

And his agent has now claimed that INEOS want him to play under their stewardship for a third time at United.

Fahd Adamson said: "It is good that Manchester United are interested in Dan, and it is somehow logical as well.

"United belong to Ineos, and Dan has already played for the other Ineos-owned clubs in Nice and Lausanne.

"He received countless WhatsApp messages from English clubs after the quarter-final against England. Let's see what emerges from them.

"We must discuss Dan's future with him and his family. We need to weigh things up well, to prevent him making the wrong career move."

A new winger isn't expected to be among United's priorities this summer amid early pushes for fresh blood in central defence, midfield, and upfront.

Zirkzee is expected to complete his switch to Old Trafford after the Netherlands' involvement at Euro 2024. He could be joined by Dutch compatriot Matthijs de Ligt, who is also keen on a move.

Everton have rejected two bids for Jarrad Branthwaite, the latest worth £45m plus £5m in bonuses. Meanwhile, Lille have reportedly accepted an offer in the region of £50m for 18-year-old talent Leny Yoro.

It's unlikely United will accelerate attempts to bolster their wide attacking options until concluding their current pursuits, but Ndoye appears to be on the club's radar.
