Jake Paul has seemingly snubbed a challenge from ex-UFC contender Darren Till, following the postponement of his much-anticipated bout with Mike Tyson. The original fight date between the YouTube sensation-turned-boxer Paul and boxing legend Tyson was set for July 20, but health issues have forced Tyson to delay the clash until Nov. 15 due to an ulcer flare-up.

Despite the setback, the venue remains unchanged AT&T Stadium in Texas and the fight will proceed under the initially agreed terms. Meanwhile, Darren Till is gearing up for his own boxing debut on the undercard of the rescheduled Paul vs. Tyson event, where he's slated to take on former world champ Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.

The Liverpudlian, who previously challenged for the UFC welterweight crown, confessed to talkSPORT that a match-up with Paul would be financially more rewarding than facing Chavez. "I'm not going to sit here and say I wouldn't fight him," said Till.

"You fight Jake Paul you earn a lot of money and this is prize fighting. The Jake Paul fight, he called me out when the Chavez Jr fight got made. Logan Paul did last year as well. They both called me out I didn't call them out.

"I thought 'Okay let's put your money where your mouth is, I am fresh, I am 31 and I am your size. Let's do it.' Tumbleweed, suddenly I didn't hear anything back."

At 185lb in his recent UFC bouts and likely heavier outside the octagon, Till's weight is comparable to Paul's, setting the stage for a potential heavyweight showdown. Paul, the upcoming opponent, wished Tyson well after his recent health issue but assured him he would still knock him out in their due fight.

Tyson, without participating in a professional bout since 2005, is planning to return to light training in the upcoming weeks and has full confidence that he can be the first one to KO Paul. "Although we had to postpone the fight, I will resume training shortly," Tyson declared.

"I am thankful to the medical staff that treated me and to MVP, Netflix, and AT&T Stadium for working diligently to find the best rescheduled date for all parties. While we have a new date, the result will be the same no matter when we fight. Jake Paul is getting knocked out."

Paul, who's three decades Tyson's junior, says the fight has been a long time coming. "We've been calling each other out for years and we finally got to make it happen on Netflix, the biggest platform in the world, and things just keep on getting bigger and better," The Problem Child added.

"The co-main event [Katie Taylor vs. Amanda Serrano]... I mean this is quite literally history that we're looking at right here. Mike wanted this. Mike wanted it to be a pro-fight. He wants the war, and so I respect that. I respect him for taking this fight, for stepping up to try to put an end to me because that's what all these fighters have been trying to do is end the YouTuber and if Mike can do that, then he's a hero."
