Jake Paul and Mike Tyson will fight in 2024 with a new date set for November 15. This comes after their July 20 bout was postponed after he suffered a medical emergency while onboard a flight from Miami to Los Angeles over the weekend. Tyson had been told by doctors to rest for several weeks - meaning he could not fight Paul next month.

However, a new date has been agreed, with the fight to be held at the same venue in Dallas, Texas, with the same undercard likely to be added.

Tyson had promised his fans that he would still look to step back in the ring, and has now agreed to do so, giving him time to recover from his ulcer flare-up which forced him to be taken to a local hospital. The heavyweight boxer has not fought professionally since 2005 - meaning he'll return to the ring after 19 years away from the sport to face a man who will be 31 years younger than him.

The latest news will put to bed any speculation that Tyson could be replaced on the July 20 card, which is now to be scrapped and replace on November 15.

Amir Khan has been vocal in recent days, calling out Paul in a bid to replace Tyson on the card. However, Paul has suggested that he should instead fight KSI.

Meanwhile, KSI had emerged as a opponent, with the two rivals long rumored to be heading towards a fight at some point in their careers.

And perhaps the most shockingly, Jake's elder brother Logan Paul had offered himself up as an opponent to face off with him - in a social media post which appeared to be made in jist.

Instead though, Tyson will indeed step back into the ring after his health scare. Paul's teammate and close friend Amanda Serrano's fight with Katie Taylor is also likely to be on the card.

On Instagram after becoming aware of the news that Tyson would not make the July 20 event, Paul said: "Obviously devastating news, I'm heartbroken, speechless, gutted. We've been working so hard over here, everyone in this camp and I feel bad for everyone in this event, the whole undercard. This opportunity has been ripped from all of us, but I do value Mike's health.

"Love that guy, so much respect for him and I want Mike to be healthy. He still says he's going to knock me out and I bought myself some time so Mike is still talking... over there. But Mike if you still want to do this, like you've said behind closed doors, I'm ready whenever you're ready.

"This is too big an opportunity, this fight's going to change the world. I turn all my Ls into Ws - a motto I live by - and the universe makes no mistakes so let's see what's in store, but sorry this didn't work out."
