UFC hero Brendan Schaub has questioned postponing the much-anticipated fight between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul. The heavyweight icon Tyson was set to face influencer-turned-boxer Paul on July 20 at the Dallas Cowboys stadium in Texas.

However, the talk has been delayed because Tyson needs time to recover from an ulcer flare-up before he can resume training for the controversial, professionally sanctioned fight.

In a surprising twist, Paul's brother Logan humorously offered to step into the ring in Tyson's place, stating: "So Mike Tyson's out? I'll step in and we can settle this once and for all."

This led Schaub to speculate that the Paul brothers may have planned to face each other from the start, casting doubt on the authenticity of Tyson's withdrawal.

Schaub recalled a past conversation with Logan on his podcast, saying: "Years ago when I had Logan on, he said the ultimate plan - this ends with me and my brother fighting," He then posed a couple of intriguing questions: "Here's a question. Put my tinfoil hat on. Was this the plan all along? Here's another question for you guys. What gets more - Mike Tyson versus Jake Paul or Jake Paul versus Logan Paul?"

He continued: "I'm not saying on YouTube, on Netflix. Because if you take Mike Tyson out of that fight, my dad's not watching it. My dad's not watching Logan Paul. But a ton of youngsters who vape and are confused about their pronouns are gonna tune in. What do I think gets more views overall? Jake Paul versus Logan Paul, because you're going to get their fanbases, which is bigger than Mike Tyson's."

Tyson has confirmed that he's bouncing back from a recent health scare and will return to training in the coming weeks. Paul, displaying sportsmanship, chose not to speak ill of Tyson after their bout was called off.

"This opportunity has been ripped from all of us, but I do value Mike's health," he remarked. "Love that guy, so much respect for him and I want Mike to be healthy. He still says he's going to knock me out and I bought myself some time so Mike is still talking s*** over there. Mike if you still want to do this, like you've said behind closed doors, I'm ready whenever you're ready."
