Jake Paul has seemingly confirmed that Amir Khan will return to boxing to face KSI, with the legendary British boxer calling out both YouTubers-turned-boxers. Khan has not fought since his 2022 loss to his bitter rival Kell Brook - retiring from his 17-year career. But at the age of 37, he could set to step back into the ring.

Paul tweeted: "KSI vs. Amir Khan I ---- with. Good entertainment," as Khan reshared the message, adding: "If he dies, he dies. Then ---- @jakepaul up."

KSI himself has yet to speak on the potential bout, having no fight scheduled since his loss to Tommy Fury last year - in a bout many had close. Fury has also defeated Paul earlier that year - doing so by split decision.

But Khan is likely to be an overwhelming favourite should he indeed agree to step back into the ring to face KSI - being amongst the best welterweights in boxing just a few years ago and sharing the ring with the likes of Terence Crawford and Canelo Alvarez while defeating Marcos Maidana and Devon Alexander.

But after his comfortable defeat to Brook, Khan retired from the sport while subsequently being given a two-year ban after it later emerged he failed a doping test for the banned substance ostarine - the same drug which Ryan Garcia had failed on.

Khan was hit with a suspension by UK Anti-Doping, which accepted his defence that he did not knowingly ingest the substance. However, that ban has now passed - making him eligible to return to the ring to face KSI.

After Khan had shared Paul's tweet, the American replied to him, writing: "You will kill the forehead (KSI) if you actually take it serious. Then we can run it in February and I’m going to splatter you like (Breidis) Prescott."

Khan was quick to respond, stating: "Send the contract or go back to Disney -----."

Paul is currently without an opponent for his booked July 20 card, after Mike Tyson was forced to pull out of the Netflix showdown in Dallas after suffering a medical emergency while on a plane.

It has yet to been confirmed whether the card will still go ahead - but with fights such as Katie Taylor vs Amanda Serrano also booked on the card - Paul could look for an alternative opponent for the date.
