EastEnders' Lauren set for new romantic dilemma that leaves Peter furious

Lauren Branning is seen trying her luck at securing a new job in the upcoming EastEnders episodes, however, concerns about her son create friction with the Beales.

On Monday (July 15), Lauren becomes anxious as her job interview approaches but her day takes a turn for the worse when bailiffs show up at her doorstep demanding payment for an old credit debt.

Later, she is surprised to see her son Louie playing football with Junior Knight, Alfie Moon and Tommy in the Square.

The situation deteriorates further when a conversation with Junior escalates after he begins questioning Louie's academic abilities, leading Lauren to walk away.

Penny Branning attempts to mediate, siding with Junior's concern that Louie might be having difficulties at school.

Following a discussion with Kathy Beale, a tense Lauren softens upon receiving some advice. She then heads to The Queen Vic to apologise to Junior, where they share a drink and he offers her some encouraging words.

Later in the week, Lauren seizes an opportunity by asking Jay Brown for a trial shift at the Car Lot, which he agrees to.

However, upon discovering that Louie has been struggling at school, she ends up clashing with Kathy, mistakenly believing she is being insensitive about Louie's diagnosis.

Junior encounters Lauren again, and they exchange numbers when Junior suggests connecting her with a friend of Xavier's who could help Louie.

Lauren's boyfriend, Peter Beale, steps in, but after being away from Walford for two days, Lauren is not in the mood for sarcasm and storms out with Louie.

Peter tries to show his support for Lauren and Louie, but she storms off when he unintentionally offends her before her trial shift.

In an attempt to reconcile with Junior, Peter heads to The Vic where they share a pint before going to pick up Louie from school.

Later at the cafe, Peter apologises to Lauren and proposes moving in together, but she requests time to consider.

With Junior already known as a ladies' man in Walford, is he trying to win Lauren's heart?

Or will Lauren agree to Peter's proposal to live together as a family?
