PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers are counting down to the reveal of the games line-up for July 2024. Sony typically adds around a dozen PS4 and PS5 games to the Extra line-up each month, as well as two or three retro games as a special bonus for Premium subscribers. Even though recent line-ups have been a little disappointing, it's always nice to find out what's next for PlayStation Plus Extra subscribers, which is why we'll be tuning in at 4.30pm BST on July 10 to find out for sure. Unfortunately, however, while Sony giveth, it also taketh away, quietly removing anything up to a dozen games every month. The same is true for PS Plus Extra in July, as Sony gets ready to remove six games from the Extra Catalog on the morning of July 16.

While it's not as many games as usual, the games leaving PS Plus Extra in July includes one or two heavy-hitters.

This includes the 91-rated (on Steam) adventure game Kingdom Two Crowns, which is something of a hidden gem.

Kingdom Two Crowns is a 2D adventure in which players are tasked with building a kingdom and protecting it from monstrous creatures and greedy invaders.

"In Kingdom Two Crowns, players must work in the brand-new solo or co-op campaign mode to build their kingdom and secure it from the threat of the Greed," reads the official description.

"Experience new technology, units, enemies, mounts, and secrets in the next evolution of the award-winning micro strategy franchise!"

The game has an 85% rating on Metacritic, with reviewers praising the amount of replay value and the surprisingly deep gameplay.

Another fan-favourite leaving PS Plus Extra in July is Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, which sees the Borderlands character star in a Dungeons and Dragons-themed adventure.

Tiny Tina's Wonderlands features the same level of customisation as the Borderlands series, albeit with a more medieval feel, tabletop role-playing elements and magic spells.

While not as popular as the Borderlands games on which it's based, it has a Mostly Positive score on Steam, plus a 78-rating on Metacritic.

Other games leaving on July 16 include Saints Row IV Re-Elected, Dysmantle, My Little Pony A Maretime Bay Adventure and Fast and Furious Spy Racers Rise of Shifter.
