Geri Halliwell's show of support as she stood beside her husband Christian Horner at the British Grand Prix is the latest sign that his sexting scandal is far behind them.

The Spice Girl, 51, and her Red Bull racing boss husband, 50, looked like the picture perfect family as they posed for photographs with their children at the event.

Geri was dressed in a casual white cricket jumper, while Christian was sporting his overalls as they laughed and smiled while cheering on the team as they practised pitstops ahead of the big race.

The display of solidarity comes just four months after Christian was at the centre of a media storm surrounding a relationship he had with a female employee.

Christian was accused of sending intimate texts to a female employee, however he has since been cleared of wrongdoing following an internal investigation at Red Bull into 'coercive behaviour' towards the colleague.

Their recent joint outing suggested that the couple are making steps to put the furore behind them, despite fears their marriage was on the rocks.

At the time, sources claimed Geri was 'mortified and angry' about the accusations made about her husband - who she married in 2015 - by a former colleague.

Last month, Geri reverted to her maiden name in a glamorous video for Dior, with fans speculating that the couple were set to split.

Geri appeared in the footage for Instagram as cameras followed her ahead of the luxury French brand's fashion show at Drummond Castle in June.

Dressed in her signature all white uniform, she kicked off the clip by saying: 'C'est moi Geri, Geri Halliwell' which translates to 'It's me Geri, Geri Halliwell'.

The singer attended the event in early June, where she curiously used her maiden name, however weeks later she attended the Austrian Grand Prix with Christian.

Their first public outing following the allegations came at the Bahrain Grand Prix in March, where they held hands and put on a united front as they arrived at the paddock.

Insiders close to Geri said that she was 'relieved and elated' after Christian was cleared yesterday of improper behaviour following a three-week probe.

Geri, who shares seven-year-old son Monty, seven, with Christian, stood resolutely by him throughout the allegations, which he always denied.

A source  said the investigation had been 'hell for Christian and his family' and he had always branded the claims as being 'nuts'.

They told The Sun: 'An exhaustive investigation has been carried out and the allegations have proven to be nonsense.

'Geri has been rock solid behind Christian - and his whole family is relieved and elated that it's over.

'Those feelings are there but no one close to Christian feels like celebrating much after what he's been through.'

The spotlight on Horner is said to have affected the couple's home life, which they split between their farmhouse (and stables) in Oxfordshire and a home in London.

The investigation came as inappropriate text messages sent by her Formula One boss husband, whom she wed in 2015, emerged in February.

The woman, in her 40s, went to HR at the Formula 1 team after she received the messages from Christian, often late at night.

She accused him of 'coercive behaviour' but an internal inquiry chaired by an unknown KC appointed by Red Bull cleared him.

The accuser was suspended following the 'findings of the investigation', sparking fury from campaign groups who claim 'women just don't have confidence that their complaints will be investigated properly'.

Geri recently told of the importance of finding 'courage' amid her family's ongoing scandal and said that themes 'within' her, including finding 'power' in difficult situations and seeking out support are explored in her new children's book.

She said: 'There are themes within me that are in the book which are about finding your power in any situation.

'If you are being bullied, and it doesn't matter how old you are, if you feel lonely or you're grieving over loss - it's about finding courage.'

Christian's F1 future remains under scrutiny after text messages between him and what appears to be a female colleague were leaked in 79 screenshots, as an anonymous sender sent an email that also copied in FIA chief Mohammed Ben Sulayem and F1 boss Stefano Domenicali.

MailOnline has previously revealed how the woman at the centre of the texting scandal has told friends she 'feels let down' by the Austrian based FI team, who she worked with.

Officials suspended her for 'dishonesty' just after announcing Christian had been exonerated but she has now appealed although no timeline has been established for her case.

Red Bull took action against her after the suggestive WhatsApp messages were sent from anonymous email address to 149 people including officials at F1 and motor racing correspondents.

The woman insists she was not the source and is 'disappointed' at how she has been treated by a company where she has worked the last five years.

A pal said: 'Questions need to be asked of the Red Bull investigation, transparency would bring confidence in what is happening to her.

'She just can't get over the fact that she made a complaint and was suspended – all she wants is transparency in the process.'

The woman's plea echoes that of Red Bull racing's current engine partner Honda who also called for 'clarity' over the investigation that ultimately cleared Horner.
