Big Brother contestant is arrested for $30,000 theft in Texas

Big Brother contestant Autumn Daly has been arrested in Texas over a theft charge.

Daly, who appeared on the CBS show's second season in 2001, was taken into custody in June in Lewisville for an outstanding warrant, TMZ reported. 

Police reportedly tracked Daly's car to a retail consignment store she owns in the city called Encore! Encore!

Daly, 51, allegedly admitted to officers that she was in the process of taking care of the warrant.

She is accused with stealing property worth between $30,000 and $150,000 in 2023.

Daly was released from jail after posting a $2,500 bond.

Police have declined to release additional details, citing an ongoing investigation.  

The former BB contestant told TMZ: 'It’s a retaliation attempt on the part of a former business associate who sued me in civil court and lost. 

'It won’t stick and I’m in the process of suing them for $500K as well, so best I don’t say anything further.'
