Scarlett Johansson admits she doesn't typically believe in conspiracy theories, except when it comes to Dolly Parton and her rumored tattoos.

The Marvel actress, 39, weighed in on the long-suspected body art collection of the 78-year-old country music icon during an interview with People on Monday.

'I don't know, I'm so not a conspiracy theorist, I really believe in science. I don't know. I think probably that Dolly Parton has full tattooed sleeves,' she hilariously admitted at the premiere of her new film Fly Me To The Moon.

Despite years of speculation fueled by Dolly's preference for long-sleeved outfits, which many believe conceal an armful of ink, the Coat of Many Colors singer has only admitted to having a meager amount.

'I have a few little tattoos here and there,' she told W Magazine in 2021. 'I don't have the real heavy, dark tattoos. Mine are all pastel. And I have more than one!'

Dolly has previously shared that she decided to get tattoos to cover scars from medical procedures, including those from a feeding tube.

'Most of my tattoos came because I'm very fair and I have a tendency to scar when I get any kind of cut,' she explained to the outlet.

'I've had surgeries for different things, and if the scars didn't heal properly, I just gotta put tattoos to take the sting out.'

In 2017, she told E! News that her tattoos are 'scattered here and there, where I need them, but they're not the kind of thing to show on television usually, I can't get naked, can I?'

Two years later, she told Good Morning America's Robin Roberts that she got them to 'decorate' scars..

'I got them to cover scars or things,' Parton said at the time. 'If I have to get a scar for any reason, I never can kind of get rid of that purple look. So I thought, "Well, I'm going to kind of decorate these with some flowers or little butterflies or whatever."'

Dolly has continued to insist that while she never shows her full arms, she doesn't have any tattoo sleeves.

'People said the other day that the reason you wear sleeves is that you have snake tattoos all over you, and I said, "No, I don't,"' she told Today back in 2014.

Reportedly, Roseanne Barr was the first to reveal Dolly's tattoos, discussing them during an appearance on Craig Ferguson's show in 2011.

‘Do you know who's totally tattooed? I shouldn't even tell this. Dolly Parton is totally tattooed,' the comedian said.

‘She showed me. She's got all these awesome tattoos all over her body—no black or blue lines, all like, pastel gorgeous bows all over everything.’
