Big Brother host Will Best has got engaged to his girlfriend of over a decade, stylist Tobi Rose.

The presenter, 39, whisked Tobi off to Tuscany in Italy for a romantic holiday before getting down on one knee to pop the question.

Speaking to The Sun on Monday, a source said that the pair 'couldn't be happier' to be engaged but that there are no locked in plans so far for the big day.

However due to both of their jobs, the pair have a host of celebrity pals - including Love Island host Maya Jama and his Big Brother co-host AJ Odudu, both of whom Will has worked with for years. The pair have both featured on Will's Instagram page since as early as 2016.

This means their nuptials could certainly be star-studded, with the source saying their guest list will be 'impressive'.

'Will has been in industry since 2010 so naturally has close bonds with some big names but the idea of a flashy celebrity wedding is world’s away from what he and Tobi want,' the source said.

'Will is pencilled in to host two series of Big Brother next year so that blocks out a number of months when it comes to picking a date.'

In March 2023, Will shared a snap of Tobi - where he gushed over her for their 12th anniversary and posted a screenshot of her commenting that she would 'never leave' him.

He wrote: '12 years ago today I met this truly one in a 7.88 billion human being. She was even my first ever insta post.

'And if you scroll right you’ll see that, as well as being the love of my life, she's also frighteningly true to her word. ❤️.'

Will's first TV job was on music channel Viva, where he fronted chat show Suck My Pop and the MTV Top 20 chart show.

Between 2011 and 2012, Will had a spot on T4 - a weekend segment between morning shows on Channel 4 which also boasted Dermot O'Leary, Vernon Kay and Jameela Jamil before being axed.

Remaining with Channel 4 for another year, he went on to present the iTunes festival, The Crush and Love Shaft on the network's various channels.

But his prime time break came on ITV in 2017 when he presented the talent show Dance Dance Dance with Britain's Got Talent's Alesha Dixon, however, the show was not recommissioned for a second series.

Will was also regular contributor to Big Brother's Bit On The Side from 2013 to 2014 before going on to host the new series with AJ.

Will and AJ were announced as the show's new double-act in April 2023, following in the footsteps of Davina McCall and Emma Willis.

Will explained his delight at being part of the show, saying: 'I grew up with Big Brother so getting a chance to host it with my mate AJ is a dream come true. I can't wait to tell some housemates not to swear.'

Paul Mortimer, Director of Reality Commissioning for ITV2 and ITVX, said: 'AJ and Will really are our perfect pairing as we prepare to reintroduce Big Brother to the next generation.

'With a genuine chemistry, both of them will bring effortless wit, charm and heaps of character to their roles and we’re delighted to be working with them both again.'

The return date for civilian Big Brother was revealed after the celebrity version ended in March.

The show made a comeback on ITV last year after five years off air, having previously been shown on Channel 5 and Channel 4.

And more details emerged after members of the public were encouraged to apply to be on the show.

The casting call states that ITV's second series of the civilian version will be broadcast in August this year.

Housemates will need to be available for up to eight weeks, meaning the season is likely to run for six weeks.

People who are cast in the show usually go into hiding so they are not discovered before the programme begins.
