Kelly Bensimon is moving on with her life after calling off her wedding to Scott Litner, and that means moving back to her old digs.

Prior to her engagement to the financier, the 56-year-old Real Housewives Of New York alum lived in the historic Police Building in Manhattan.

The building was built in 1909 and used the NYPD headquarters until 1973.

The former model turned real estate mogul told Page Six, 'I’m excited about my new chapter.'

She added: 'I want to move forward and create an amazing life.'

Bensimon has lived in the building since her days as a model.

Former neighbors include Cindy Crawford, Christy Turlington, Linda Evangelista and designer Calvin Klein.

She rented out her three bedroom, three bathroom, 3,600 square feet apartment last year, when she moved in with her former fiancé.

The tenants, who are paying $28,500 per month, are still living there.

In the interim, the realtor has moved into a different flat in the same building.

Bensimon, who is often referred to as the 'commissioner' of the Police Building, has helped residents buy and sell many of the exclusive properties there.

On Monday, the broker jumped back in to work mode and shared some advice for other agents in her Instagram stories to help them seal the deal.

'So here's a couple things in real estate, that I've realized,' she told the camera.

'The price can really decide whether a person needs or wants an apartment, but you really need to stand what are the needs and the wants of not only your seller, but also your buyer.'

Bensimon opened up about her decision to call off her wedding just days before the ceremony to Entertainment Tonight, following Litner's refusal to sign a prenup.

'He thought that I would enter this union without legal protections in place, that I would leave everything to faith,' she told the outlet.

'But I've worked really, really, hard as a single mother and have always made smart decisions for myself and my family, and that will continue.'

Bensimon shares daughters Teddy, 24, and Sea, 26, with her photographer ex-husband Gilles Bensimon.
