British cyclist Mark Cavendish will likely retire after finishing the final stage of the Tour de France on Sunday, having finally achieved his ambition this year of breaking the all-time record for most stage wins at the Tour. As such, the Tour paid tribute to one of its finest ever sprinters with a special commemorative jersey paying homage to his new record of 35 stage wins in a single Tour. A black jersey with 'CAXXXV' emblazoned across the front - a play on words with 'Cav' his nickname and 'XXXV' the roman numeral for 35 - was handed to him by French-American basketball legend Tony Parker in Nice on Sunday evening.
