TikTok influencer is SLAMMED for claiming Tesla's $80,000 Cybertruck is 'perfect for moms' - as one user jokes 'blink if Elon is holding you hostage'

  • Influencer 'Techie Dani', claims the $79,990 Cybertruck is 'perfect for moms'
  • Critics have pointed out that most features are available on cheaper cars

With its durable exterior, spacious interior and futuristic design, the Cybertruck is 'built for any adventure', according to Tesla

But one influencer suggests that Tesla should really be focusing its marketing towards another group - mums.

Techie Dani, an influencer based in the US, claims that the $79,990 Cybertruck is 'perfect for moms'.

In a video posted to TikTok, Dani shows off some of the Cybertruck's key features, including a 'huge back trunk', doors that open to 90°, and space for two car seats in the back.

However, several critics have pointed out that these features are also available in several cheaper cars, with one joking: 'Blink if Elon is holding you hostage.'

Dani posted her video to TikTok in March, and since then it has been viewed over 3 million times.

'Here's why the Cybertruck is the perfect mom and family car,' she says at the start of the video, before showing off some of the vehicle's key features.

'First of all - huge back trunk,' she says, as she slides her stroller in.

'I can fit, like, three more strollers back there.'

Next, she shows off the tonneau cover, which means 'you never have to worry about all your kids stuff getting wet, or your groceries.'

Moving to the side of the car, she shows off how the doors 'open 90 degrees', which she says is 'super great for loading in kiddos.'

Meanwhile in the front, she boasts about a 'hidden drawer' - which turns out to be the glove box.

Finally, she delights that you'll 'look like a total bada** driving your kids around' in the Cybertruck.

Somewhat unsurprisingly, the video has not gone down well with viewers, with many pointing out that these features are readily available in other cars.

Taking to the comments, one user wrote: 'So basically it's like any other car out there,' while another added: 'girl you just described every single car in existence.'

Another user wrote: 'Or, and hear me out, you pay $60k less and get a minivan that does THE EXACT SAME THING.'

While Dani's video has been largely mocked, she might be on to something - that is, if Kim Kardashian is anything to go by. The star, who has four children, can regularly be seen driving her Cybertruck around Los Angeles

And one simply joked: 'Blink if Elon is holding you hostage.'

One influencer, fiveoclockmommy, went so far as to stitch the video, comparing the Cybertruck's features to her VW Atlas.

'I'd rather save the $60k difference in price and keep all my fingers,' she joked in the caption.
