Compliance Certificates

Compliance certificates can be requested through the Town of Banff Planning and Development Office.

Please send us the following: 

• A Real Property Report by a Canada Lands Surveyor that was completed within the last year; or,
• A Real Property Report by a Canada Lands Surveyor that was completed more than one year ago, but less than 5 years ago, accompanied by a Statutory Declaration notarized by a Commissioner of Oaths or Notary Public stating that no alterations have been made to the building.
• Payment (upon receiving your compliance certificate request, we will email you an invoice which may be paid by cash, cheque or credit card)

Note: We will not be able to provide a Compliance Certificate based on a Real Property Report that is not certified by a Canada Lands Surveyor and/or more than 5 years old.
