Dr. Ostad's work is nothing short of spectacular!

A dear friend recommended I go to Dr. Ostad for a consultation about how to refresh my sagging face.
First of all his entire office ambiance and staff are warm and welcoming. You feel comfortable as soon as you enter. I had reviewed all of the information and videos on the Doctor's website so I already knew I would be meeting a dedicated, qualified, and unique professional. He took time to listen to everything I said, asked pertinent questions and then went over in detail what could be done to make me look better.

I ended up getting a short procedure of Botox and fillers. The process was not painful and he talked me through everything he was doing while Coleen, one of his assistants focused on making sure I was comfortable. When Dr. Ostad finished and handed me the mirror I was flabbergasted! I kept looking around the room thinking there was some kind of special lighting on the ceiling or in the mirror but there was nothing but the unforgiving light of a doctor's office. I could not believe the immediate difference in my appearance. First of all he took a good 10 years off my face. Second the overall shape and proportions of my face were ever so slightly altered. Now all of my features worked to make me look more attractive than I have ever looked. I cannot describe how wonderful I felt. (I had totally forgotten how much our well-being is connected our self-image.) Now I smile when I look in the mirror. I feel confident and relaxed when I talk to people. I called his office the next day and told his receptionist to tell him that I woke up happier than I had felt in a long, long time.

During my initial visit Dr. Ostad said he could do wonders for my eye bags and jowls without plastic surgery. "Satisfaction guaranteed," he said.
And that results would last 1-2 years. He proceeded to give me 10 fillers and some Botox. As the days and weeks went by I saw little to no difference, particularly in the eye area. I followed up with a visit and letter in which I voiced my dissatisfaction. Today I returned after 4 months and he completely backtracked. He said my eyes could not be improved other than with surgery, and that he never said, never would say "satisfaction guaranteed." This time he said that Botox wears off after 4 months, and that the lines on my forehead had returned due to frowning (so it was my fault). And despite earlier promises that if I was unhappy I could come back free of charge, I only got credit for the single filler he used on my eyes ($1000 out of $10,000). His rationale was that the rest of the work on my face was a success.

I have been going to Dr. Ostad for over 20 years for many different needs from the age of 21 to now 45. He is truly an artist and most importantly he is HONEST and understanding of my various needs every time. I started getting fillers from Dr. Ostad about 5 years ago and I will NEVER EVER trust any other hand to do this for me. He is truly amazing and brings to your best appearance without exaggeration!

if you are so good why you disfigured me , and I had so many cancer couple months later after I left your office because you didn't want to take my insurance , how you sleep night , when you was saying sorry to me hundreds time if you meant you will fix my face , I have scars all over my face and forehead , another surgeon had to take me to hospital and fix my face , and when I sue you , your friend and colleague dr Carole Hazan won case for you , remember your team didn't win anything

I have the worst skin - like totally pale and prone to sun cancers. I spent the first twelve years of my life living on a boat in Australia's Gulf of Carpentaria - so you can imagine the problems I have !
I was recommended to Dr. Ostad several years ago and I have to say that even though going and having cancers removed is in no way a pleasant experience. Dr. Ostad is a truly unique individual - he cares - he really cares. You would think that all Doctors care - just in the nature of their professions - however Dr. Ostad takes it to entirely new level. First I would like to start by say that my wife and I, along with many other family members, have been seeing Dr. Ostad for many years. We have only had exceptional experiences with both Dr. Ostad and his entire staff. He is probably one of the nicest, polite and caring doctors anyone will ever come across. His office staff is equally as nice and compassionate. As I read these 1 star reviews, it really upsets me because I know that Dr. Ostad and his staff deserve 5 stars across the board. I'm sure what these patients experienced are real, however as a Registered Nurse, surgery isn't like getting your car fixed at the mechanics. Everyone heals differently. I happen to keloid whenever I have a surgical incision. This isn't the surgeon's fault and its beyond his or her control. I will continue to recommend Dr Ostad to family and friends.

Thank you Dr. Ostad!!! I am in love with my new jaw and you did such an amazing job with my jaw contouring. I've been wanting to get filler in my jaw/chin for years now, and I'm so happy I went with Dr. Ostad. The before and after speaks for itself. He is extremely precise and knowledgeable, making me feel comfortable throughout the procedure. The office is gorgeous and everyone in the office is welcoming and sweet. It was quick and easy, and hurt far less than I expected. I highly recommend Dr. Ostad for any of your cosmetic procedures.

Dr. Ostad has been my dermatologist for many years. He has removed about 8 squamous cell carcinomas from various parts of my body through these years. Not only were they successfully removed but due to his expertise there are no visible scars.
He not only is a wonderful doctor but a compassionate, caring human being who has gone out of his way to see me and stitch me up when I have fallen and can't stop bleeding from the wound; whether it be after regular hours or during a time he normally is not in the office. He is truly a remarkable person with such a heart. I cannot say enough good about him.

I regret you are unable to locate my chart, but I cannot comment on the organization of your patient records.

I have the correct dermatologist and the correct practice. You even called me personally to apologize after I had contacted your office to say I did not appreciate having a physicians assistant foisted on me. You insisted I give your office another chance at no charge. I accepted. After the visit I was presented with a bill for several hundred dollars plus being pushed into purchasing your expensive creams and lotions.

My review is accurate and fair, and I stand by it.

To make a long story short, Dr. Ostad is ridiculously talented. Forget the office, forget the staff, forget the bedside manner (all of which were superb in my case), you are going to this guy because he has exceptionally talented hands and an incredible eye for derm detail.

Ok, for the soft stuff. My appointments were on-time. The staff of RN's is exceptional. Admin staff was friendly and organized. I'd go see this guy again in a NY minute.
