How much rain fell in the Upstate area of South Carolina in April?
WELL, HAPPY WEDNESDAY, EVERYONE. IT’S GOING TO BE A SUNNY AND BREEZY DAY ACROSS THE UPSTATE. IT WILL BE SUNNY AND WINDY ACROSS THE MOUNTAINS. DRY TOMORROW. WE’RE IN THE 70S TOMORROW. SO WE’LL LEAVE THE 60S BEHIND. AND THEN AS WE HEAD INTO THE WEEKEND, WE WILL LOOK AT SOME SPOTTY SHOWERS. LET’S TAKE A LOOK AT SOME OF THESE FUTURE WIND GUSTS. AGAIN TODAY. NOTICE STILL 20, 25, MAYBE UP TO 30MPH AT TIMES ACROSS THE UPSTATE, 30 TO 40 ACROSS THE MOUNTAINS. SO BELIEVE IT OR NOT, THIS IS GOING TO BE A LITTLE BIT OF AN IMPROVEMENT OVER YESTERDAY. AND THEN AS WE HEAD INTO TONIGHT AND TOMORROW, WE WILL STILL STAY BREEZY, BUT NOT QUITE THE WIND TUNNEL WE HAVE HAD. WE CONTINUE TO BE ON THE BACKSIDE OF THIS LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM. THIS THING IS STUCK. IT’S NOT MOVING A WHOLE LOT. SO UP UNTIL THIS MOVES AND IT WILL EVENTUALLY WE’LL SEE SOME MOVEMENT, ESPECIALLY AS WE GO THROUGHOUT THE DAY TOMORROW AND FRIDAY. THAT’S WHEN THESE WINDS WILL BE COMPLETELY DONE, AT LEAST FROM THAT SYSTEM. IN THE MEANTIME, WE’VE GOT MAINLY SUNNY CONDITIONS, ANYTHING FROM MOSTLY SUNNY TO PARTLY CLOUDY TODAY AND TOMORROW. HOPEFULLY, YOU CAN GET OUT AND ENJOY IT DESPITE THOSE WINDS. AND THEN AS WE GO INTO FRIDAY, WE’LL BEGIN TO NOTICE OUR CLOUDS INCREASING AS WE GO INTO THE AFTERNOON AND THEN ULTIMATELY A FEW SPOTTY SHOWERS LATE AFTERNOON IN EARLY EVENING ON FRIDAY. NOT A WASHOUT, BUT AGAIN, WILL BE SOME RAINFALL AROUND BETTER CHANCES OF WIDESPREAD RAIN AS WE GO INTO SATURDAY, ANYWHERE FROM MID-MORNING INTO THE EARLY AFTERNOON. AND THEN BY SATURDAY NIGHT, I THINK WILL BE MAINLY DRY. AND THEN WE COULD SEE JUST MOSTLY CLOUDS WITH A FEW SPOTTY SPRINKLES AS WE HEAD INTO SUNDAY. SO HOW MUCH RAIN ARE WE EXPECTING HERE? WELL, HERE’S A LOOK AT FRIDAY EVENINGS. RAIN NOT A LOT FOR MOST OF US. AGAIN, THIS IS GOING TO BE A FEW LIGHT SHOWERS PASSING BY. WE’LL ADD TO THAT A LITTLE BIT ON SATURDAY WITH ABOUT HALF AN INCH OF RAIN FOR MOST OF US, MAYBE A LITTLE BIT LESS. AND THEN THOSE SPOTTY SPRINKLES ON SUNDAY, WE’LL ADD A LITTLE BIT MORE. BUT AGAIN, NOT A WASHOUT. MOST OF US WON’T EVEN SEE AS MUCH AS AN INCH OF RAIN AS WE HEAD THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE WEEK. AND MOST OF US TEMPERATURES IN THE 70S, TOMORROW AND FRIDAY AND SATURDAY. BUT LOOK AT THAT NEXT WEEK I SPY THE 80S. THEY ARE COMING BACK. WE’RE GOING FROM THE 60S TODAY INTO THE 7
