Wires come down on PRT bus, ambulance in Plum Borough

A WITNESS TELLS PITTSBURGH’S ACTION NEWS FOUR THAT THE ONLY PERSON ON THE BUS AT THAT TIME WAS THE DRIVER. WE ARE

Wires fell on a Pittsburgh Regional Transit bus and an ambulance traveling near Boyce Park Tuesday evening.The power lines came down in Plum along Center Road during a severe thunderstorm that moved through the Pittsburgh region. Wires could be seen down all over that road. A witness told Pittsburgh's Action News 4 that the only person on the bus at the time was the driver. WTAE has reached out to PRT to see if the driver was hurt. It is unclear if anyone in the ambulance was injured.
