Sinclair Strong is assisting Senior Research Scientist Kathleen Savage in investigating the effect of moisture on the methane source-sink transition in northern forests.

Strong is a rising junior at Fisk University where she is studying biochemistry and molecular biology. She is a part of the Beezer Research Group, a synthetic chemistry lab, where she is exploring smart affinity-based polymeric nanoparticles for selective capture and release applications. Strong will be pursuing a graduate program in environmental toxicology following the completion of her undergraduate degree.

In her free time, Strong enjoys listening to podcasts, reading, watching TV, and trying new things.
