Margo Moceyunas will be contributing to the Permafrost Pathways retrogressive thaw slump (RTS) mapping project by outlining and digitizing RTS in Arctic regions. She is thrilled to be contributing to Woodwell Climate’s high-quality research that supports informed and just climate decisions.
Moceyunas is a rising senior at Kenyon College, studying environmental studies and Spanish. She plans to pursue a Ph.D. in Earth Systems Science to continue to learn about the effects of a warming climate using remote sensing techniques.
In her free time, Moceyunas enjoys backpacking, reading science fiction, and being an executive member of the Kenyon College Dance Team.
