Josie Ackell assists the Development team in maintaining and organizing the donor database, conducting prospect research, and digitizing archival documents.
Ackell is a rising senior at Georgetown University where she is majoring in American studies and minoring in women’s and gender studies. She previously worked for the women’s non-profit organization WE CAN, where she digitized archived documents. She has also conducted market research and created development tactics for the D.C.-based company Cosmopolitan Plated.
Ackell was born and raised on Cape Cod and is excited to spend her summer at Woodwell Climate. In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis and going to the beach.
