P.S. my bot started working this evening; it improves old imperfect references based on GND ID (P227). When it will finish running (it will take 1-3 months depending on how much I will be online this summer) it will be easier to discover other cases of dissent between sex or gender (P21) on Wikidata and Geschlecht in GND. Thanks for the list. Filmportal is quite challenging and will cause a lot of work:

• 1.408 items with "Unique value" violations.
• If you look at a documentary like Erinnern heißt leben (DDR 1987/1988) you will see dozen of credited people. Many of these still needs to be identified.

I don't usually ask you about places, but working on User:Anna Clara Maniero Azzolini/Altinum I came to something strange: https://d-nb.info/gnd/4597163-8 has the coordinates of Altino (Q51179): Italian comune in Central Italy, but the connected publication clearly regards the (more famous) Roman city of Altinum (Q441542): national museum near Venice, corresponding to modern Altino (Q1773579): human settlement in Quarto d'Altino, Metropolitan City of Venice, Veneto, Italy. I would guess the ancient city. Coordinates seem to come from some bot. When you look at https://swb.bsz-bw.de/DB=2.104/SET=1/TTL=1/CMD?retrace=0&trm_old=&ACT=SRCHA&IKT=2999&SRT=RLV&TRM=4597163-8 you see at the bottom "Untergeordnete GND-Sätze" and there you see only(?) items near Venice. Hi! I have a case that was reported me, very precisely, by @Gentile64:. So https://d-nb.info/gnd/1074962788 has attributed to an Italian theologian the dates 1921-2011 on the basis of Internet, very probably page 48 of this document; on the basis of this GND I created (through a larger import) Sebastiano Viotti (Q113831720): Italian priest (1921-2011); it turns out that the Italian priest born in 1921 and died in 2011 mentioned in that document was not the Italian theologian, who was much younger, since he was born in 1943 and died in 2023 - for him I have just created Sebastiano Viotti (Q126898677): Italian Salesian priest and theologian (1943-2023). Could you correct the dates of GND and move it to the new item? I would keep the other for the priest 1921-2011, since we have a few sources about him, and it's anyway useful to avoid (hopefully) future confusions. --Epìdosis 19:12, 24 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Der Eintrag "Hein, Marie" GND:135932831 - dazu Marie Hein (Q94738551): Austrian explorer, collector and ethnographer (1853-1943) - scheint sich auf dieselbe Marie Hein zu beziehen wie Marie Hein (Q51880190): Austrian explorer, collector and ethnographer (1853-1943). Allerdings enthält GND:135932831 den Vermerk "Mitarbeiterin und Reisegefährtin Wilhelm von Humboldts" was nicht zu Marie Hein (Q51880190): Austrian explorer, collector and ethnographer (1853-1943) passt. Möglicherweise handelt es sich nur um eine fehlerhafte Angabe die tatsächlich "Mitarbeiterin und Reisegefährtin Wilhelm Heins [Ehemann von Marie Hein, vgl. In reference to your comment about GND in revision https://www.wikidata.org/w/index.php?title=Q61749519&oldid=prev&diff=2199081034 the issue was that the "GND identifier" (P227) didn't "know" about deutsche-biographie.de's use of GND identifiers, I have added the relevant regex to its "URL match pattern", thanks for the spot Back ache (talk) 15:40, 9 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
