2 teens charged in shooting at Vicksburg city pool
Two teenagers were arraigned in municipal court for a shooting that happened in late June. According to Vicksburg police Lt. Nicholas Carson, a 16-year-old and a 14-year-old were arrested and charged in a June 28 shooting at the Vicksburg city pool. The teens are charged with shooting into an occupied vehicle and aggravated assault.Investigators said a woman was shot while she sat in her car. She was treated and later released. Police said there were two separate shootings that happened around the same time during a party. The two teenagers were arrested in relation to one of them but no suspects have been named for the other one.Police are working to find out if the shootings are related. VPD said more arrests are pending.
