The Fashion Charter is on track to miss its key goal. What now?

In a progress report released last month, the UN Fashion Industry Charter for Climate Action found that its signatories are behind on meeting its targets, which means it’s unlikely to reach its key goal of net-zero emissions by 2050. “There has been some progress but continuing and extending the reporting coverage must remain a high priority for the Fashion Charter if it’s to ultimately achieve its goals and drive climate action,” the report reads.
