Trust the process.

Trust the process.

[Rosalia speaking in a foreign language]

I think I'm gonna use this one, the smaller one.

[Rosalia speaking in a foreign language]

Sleeping Beauty.

[Rosalia speaking in a foreign language]

Darkness, it's the color black.

So for me, it's much more about that than, it's more cliche,

if I think about dreams and colorful, much color is,

color is, no, it's more about black, and that.

[Rosalia speaking in a foreign language]

And that's why we thought the absence of color,

it makes so much sense.

We became really obsessed

with the very specific time period of the late 1940s

and the early 1950s, the new look, Monsieur Dior,

and the way that he saw women.

[Rosalia speaking in a foreign language]

Reawakening of fashion, you know.

And so he's been very inspiring,

and also Maria Grazia is a very inspiring woman.

Seeing her work, it was amazing.

[Rosalia speaking in a foreign language]

So yeah, I'm learning and I'm enjoying this process.

I think Rosalia is a chameleon.

She's a woman who loves fashion,

she loves playing a role,

she loves communicating through her image.

And when we began talking about what would feel fresh,

what she hasn't done before, what people may not expect,

I think we really landed on something

that felt a little bit more restrained.

[upbeat music]

[Rosalia speaking in a foreign language]

Like makes the look better.

Like the dress is everything, but then you use this

and it makes it even better, you know?

And there's room for it.

And yesterday we were trying it,

trying to find the right placement in the face

so it wouldn't cover the face,

instead it would frame it, and it feels great.

I think it's so beautiful.

She has this beautiful veil that goes over her face

and it's all chic, black, sophisticated.

So she has beautiful skin within itself,

she really doesn't need much.

But I wanted obviously to elevate her skin,

but keep it natural, sophisticated, timeless,

not much taking away from her look anywhere else.

But through the veil, I wanted a pop a color,

which she always loves a red lip

and she looks beautiful in a red lip.

So we went with that,

so it peeks through the veil,

but instead of a classic red lip,

we put more of a modern twist on it

by having a brown outer lip

that ombres into like a padded red lip.

It kinda reminds me, I got inspiration off like

chocolate dipped cherries.

[Rosalia speaking in a foreign language]

And it's all about that, it's about freedom,

not caring,

[Rosalia speaking in a foreign language]

but having so much love.

[Rosalia speaking in a foreign language]

I would say

something like an idea become reality.

Like I think there's something magical about

when there's an idea, when there's something that.

[Rosalia speaking in a foreign language]

We've done at least four fittings

to get to this point where we are now,

and it's a big team of like

so many people working like tailors, styling,

glam, and this and that,

and there's so many people involved,

and all of us, we care about it.

[upbeat music]

Yeah, I think the hairstyle for today,

it kinda gives a little bit of an effortless feeling to it,

which is a little bit ironic,

because it does take a lot of work

to get this kinda texture.

So it'll be kinda fun to see like, you know,

walk through the steps of achieving this.

But yeah, we love a little rawness as well.

A little rawness-

A little organicness.

[Rosalia speaking in a foreign language]

Some realness.

[Rosalia speaking in a foreign language]

Do you have an hour or 30, 45 minutes?

We're good, we're good.

[Rosalia laughing]

We're good, we're good, we're good.

[Rosalia speaking in a foreign language]

[everyone laughing]

Albert.

Albert is my best friend from high school

and he controls, he knows everything.

He controls the time absolutely perfect right now.

[Rosalia speaking in a foreign language]

[Albert speaking in a foreign language]

Yeah, 45.

Wow.

I don't know, I think I'm like so nervous

that I went calm.

[Rosalia speaking in a foreign language]

Right?

Exactly.

Yeah.

Yeah.

[Rosalia speaking in a foreign language]

[Rosalia smooching]

[Rosalia speaking in a foreign language]

[upbeat music]

That'll work, this is it.
