Powder Valley Conservation Nature Center

Powder Valley Conservation Nature Center is nestled within 112 acres of oak-hickory forest. Experience wildlife up close through a wildlife viewing window, living bee-hive, 3,000-gallon aquarium, native plant gardens and exhibits.

Walk through the forest on three paved trails – one is disabled accessible. Learn about nature through interactive exhibits, a kid’s corner, tree house, reading room, naturalist-led programs and special events.

Nature Center Hours:

Tuesday through Saturday 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Gift shop closes at 4:30 p.m. Admission to the nature center is free.

Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and New Years Day, and all state holidays.

Trails are open daily, 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Central Standard Time and 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Daylight Saving Time.

No pets please!
