If you have completed CEGEP courses with a final grade of 65% or higher and have been accepted into the University of Toronto Scarborough from the CEGEP system in Quebec, you may be eligible to receive up to 5.0 transfer credits.  

The number of transfer credits you can receive will depend on the number of academic courses you have completed at CEGEP. Once you have received an offer from U of T Scarborough and submitted a completed Transfer Credit Application along with all supporting documentation, we will determine your transfer credit eligibility. 

Notes about Specific Admission Categories

Applicants who complete 14 or more courses are not eligible for admission to the following admission categories:

  • Computer Science
  • Mathematics
  • Statistics
  • Double Degree in Management & Finance (BBA) and Statistics – Quantitative Finance Stream (BSc)
  • Paramedicine

Applicants who have completed more than 14 courses are also not eligible for admission to the following admission categories (Health Sciences Stream):

  • Life Sciences — Health Sciences Stream
  • Physical & Environmental Sciences — Health Sciences Stream
  • Psychology & Health Studies — Health Sciences Stream

Instead, you are encouraged to apply for one of the following non-Health Sciences Stream options:

  • Life Sciences (regular or co-op)
  • Physical & Environmental Sciences (regular or co-op)
  • Psychology & Health Studies (regular or co-op)
