Sagepay information for customers buying on the web

Shopping using a card has now become an accepted way to pay for goods or services. We are all comfortable with handing our card to a shop assistant or waiter, or giving our card details to someone on the other end of the telephone.

For many people however putting card details into a web site is still uncomfortable, as we are not sure what is happening to the information we are submitting or where it is going.

When you shop with a merchant who uses Sagepay you can be assured that your card details are securely encrypted during transport over the Internet so no one can read your card information. The card details are only transported to a Bank to authorise your purchase.

Sagepay guarantees that it will never:

  • Pass on your financial details
  • Pass on any personal information gathered when you place an order
  • Sell or rent your details, you will never receive junk mail as a result of using Sagepay
  • Leave invasive technologies such as cookies on your machine
  • Exploit your details in any way

If you would like more information please visit the Sagepay website at http://www.sagepay.com/ or call 0845 111 4455

This website takes every precaution to protect customers’ information. When users submit sensitive information via the website, their information is protected both online and offline. When our order form asks customers to enter sensitive information (such as credit card numbers), that information is encrypted and is protected with the best encryption software in the industry – SSL. While on a secure page, such as our order form, the lock icon on the bottom of web browsers such as Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Internet Explorer becomes locked, as opposed to unlocked, or open, when users are just ‘surfing’.

While we use SSL encryption to protect sensitive information online, we also do everything in our power to protect users’ information offline. All of our customers’ information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted in our offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, those processing orders or a customer service representative) are granted access to personally identifiable information. All employees are kept regularly up-to-date on our security and privacy practices. Finally, the servers that store personally identifiable information are in a secure environment: a locked and alarmed office.

If you have any questions concerning security on www.ukjuicers.com please contact us

How users can inform of us changes in their personally identifiable information:

If a customer’s personally identifiable information changes (such as telephone number or email or postal address), we provide a way to correct, update or delete customers’ personally identifiable information. This can be done by contacting us or by logging into your account details and amending them yourself.
