My friend and I arrived late on 24th April, when checking in we were taken next door to the Calimera Hotel,we were advised that although we will be staying in the Annex all facilities would be within the Calimera eg:meals, bar, entertainment, free WiFi,free shuttle bus to beach etc, this was a bonus for us as not expecting it for the money we paid.

The Annex itself is dated, but very clean, the maids were in every day leaving clean towels, replenishing the tea/coffee sachets and basically making it clean and tidy.

There was no restaurant, bar or entertainment so cannot comment on this,I just know as of the Sunday the 5th May the gate between the Calimera and Annex would be closed so could not therefore use next door facilities.

The Annex is a short walk to some shops, McDonald's,bank, bars and a couple of restaurants 2 mins away. The town/harbour is about half hour walk or roughly 10 euros in a taxi. The walk is lovely into town though.

A very relaxing holiday, but I imagine if taking children you would want to get out and about, for the price we paid there is no complaints from me.

We went in July 2024 where the weather was 40 degrees and didn’t drop below 27 in the evening! We got this hotel as part of an easy jet package and the price for 5 nights was insane!

We were optimistic about the hotel for the price and what it would be like but we couldn’t fault a single thing!

Every room had proper air conditioning where it was definitely needed! Rooms were in good condition and had everything you would need! Rooms were cleaned everyday without fault!

Drinks for all inclusive had the basics of wine beer and soft drinks where around 10 cocktails were also included.

Food overall couldn’t fault at all! Everything was fresh and well presented included an outside bbq which we had one evening. The salad and fruit area was very high quality and fresh. There was around 10 hot meal choices ranging from veg to meat dishes and not having a huge selection we felt was ideal! Each dish was flavourful with an outside grilling area as well, 15:00-16:00 also severed snacks of fresh burgers and side dishes as well to pick from.

Pool or beach towels are issued for the first one being free and then if you want to change it, it’s then a fee of €1 each towel. There’s free beach shuttles offered as well.

Pool was a great sun trap with daily polo
Or other activities offered if you want. The areas were clean and tidy and just couldn’t fault it! There is also a spa services available.

I would say this hotel is a high rated 3 star as only things could be better would be a bar for drinks in the actual restaurant when eating as you need to get the drinks from the pool bar which in fairness isn’t far at all and the staff would go and get you a drink if asked.
when we were waiting to be collected for the airport pickup the lounge area and reception had no fans or aircon so it was very very hot!

Great area of shops very short walks away and the shop attached to the hotel
Is very value for money and had everything you need! If you do visit highly recommend Safran restaurant and bar up the road that was amazing!

Would only mention if you do bring kids then there’s zero kids entertainment or adult evening entertainment on offer but the bar open until 10pm

Would also recommend the green canyon boat trip! We paid £31 each which you had a hotel pick up, unlimited soft drinks all day and a full bbq lunch! That was certainly amazing value for money and such a great experience swimming there as well!

Turkey since going many many years ago we felt is now a great destination to go and the value for money over there is insanely cheap!

Thank you for a great holiday!

This hotel was good for the price we paid, very clean and staff are helpful and hard working. The room was quite small and it might be as well bringing an extension lead as there are only two plug sockets in the room.
The food is not bad at meal times, although the variety at breakfast wasn't that good, there's plenty of snacks in the afternoon for kids, ice creams and burgers.
There is entertainment most nights which was okay and the bar shuts at 2200. Sidi Old town is a 10 minute walk and there's supermarkets and a shop near by which are reasonably priced.
The pool is quite small but adequate, we went to the beach a few times and it can become a free for all getting on the bus depending what time you get it.
On the whole this was a nice relaxing holiday and enjoyable, the only down side for me was the location of the hotel and having to get a bus or a 20 minute walk to the beach.

We went as a family of 5 and all of us was disappointed. Theres one plug in the room and no bin or bath plug and the bed covers are thin which I didn’t like. We had 3 rooms between us and all of them were the same.. we used a plastic bag for the bin and a roll on lid for the plug hole in the bath. However the room was clean and the cleaners were good and did a good job every day with clean towels, toilet rolls.
The food was okay but very limited choice compared to every where else I’ve been on holiday. Breakfast was good with omelettes, pancakes, cereals. Neither of us liked the look of lunch so we never had lunch we waited until 3pm for the burgers they cooked. Dinner was very repetitive with just turkey and chicken every night, we ended up eating out a lot which cost us more money than we would have liked to spend.
The slide during the day was only open at a certain time so a lot of the time we had to ask for the slide to be put on. The only reps that the hotel had were ones that were told to come over from the hotel next door which they wasn’t happy about as they was shocked at the hotel compared to there one. It was clear that this hotel was terrible compared to the one they work from. They would come over and play darts with us as that was the only thing they could offer.
There was no entertainment at all and the bar closed at 10pm so every night we was bored and ended up going to bed earlier than what we would have.
My family paid a lot for this hotel which is why we were so disappointed. compared to everyone else there that we had spoken to!
Me and my boyfriend paid £1200 for 10 days where as a lot of other couples paid £800. This isn’t nothing to do with the hotel the price we paid but that’s why I’ve come and put a honest review just so people are aware because we couldn’t find any reviews before we came. We definitely wouldn’t go back to this hotel.
Other than that the staff were amazing and couldn’t do more for us! thankyou.

What a waste of £2000.00 got to be the worst hotel we have been to in 10 years of going to Turkey. The rude reception person mad my wife cry and upset. Because she went down to say the aircon was not working. Then instead of letting her talk he was rude and questioning her over her and myself walking around the pool and restaurant. And we did but we had just arrived and we was given no info on were anything is just timings. So not a good start on the first day. At dinner the steamed fish was raw so I pointed it out to the chef who grunted something and went and took the fish out to cook more.

The pool was nice no complaints there. It was nice.
On the first night my wife went back down to reception to ask for bath towels as we only had hand towels this took 1 hour 30 mins too turn up and there was a bath in the room but no plug this took a further hour to be brought up. Next night no toilet rolls, it started being a joke but not a funny one. Coffee machine kept breaking down so no coffee in bar or restaurant until someone sorted it that took a while. I put an email too easy jet as I couldn't call them from Turkey as we was not happy after 3 more days of being there I was in the restaurant while my wife was sitting with some other English lady's and they was told no laughing or talking out loud. I heard this on the next table so I asked the waiter what he said and I was told the chef told him to tell the ladies no laughing and keep noise down no talking. So that was enough I went to the reception and demanded the manager who came down and was aware of previous issues however done nothing this now was to much and my wife didn't feel comfortable or safe in the hotel so I had to spend money on another hotel for which I am claiming back from my insurance. We visited the Oz side hotel in September 2023 and looked around. When we got info from easy jet of the name changed we should have cancelled there and then. All inclusive or should I say true all inclusive it is not. Definitely not worth what we have paid. Other hotels near by half the price are a better standard and more polite staff. And you can't talk and have a laugh.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would go back there.
Positives-
The hotel is very clean, even during meal times the staff are constantly cleaning the tables as people leave. Also, our room was pretty much spotless.
The staff are very friendly and helpful.
The pool is a decent size and there are plenty of sun loungers.
At meal times I enjoyed the fresh salads and fruit. Some of the batch cooked food was a bit bland but there was usually freshly cooked kebabs/meat at the snack bar during meal times (which was delicious).
The bar does close at 10pm however there was coffee, juice and water machines where you could help yourself.
The shop on site was well stocked and the guy running it was friendly and helpful.
The aircon in the room is slow to start but once it gets going it works very well.

Negatives -
There was a double bed and bunk beds in our room. The bunk beds took up a fair amount of space and were not needed as it was just the two or us.
There are not enough plug sockets in the room.

We stayed here as an all inclusive package holiday and it was more than worth the price. I don't understand some of the negative reviews. It is not a 5* hotel but that is.not what it is advertised at. I found my stay relaxing and enjoyable and I would stay again.

I cannot recommend this hotel enough.

We stayed for 4 nights. When we and other guests arrived at midnight the hotel had sandwiches and soup ready in case we were hungry.

The staff are friendly, courteous, polite, and welcoming. The majority spoke English but they appreciate it when guests speak a little Turkish (saying hello, bye, and thank you). Nothing was too much for the staff. Tips are expected in Turkey.

The hotel was very clean. The food was delicious.

The hotel has a nice library in which you can sit to relax and cool down.

We stayed in the annex section of the hotel, which has its own pool, which is for adults only.

If you forget your plug adapter (which we did) the hotel will provide you one for free.

The hotel has its own shop which sells sweets, toiletries, and items for the pool.

A third heated pool, with water slides and a snack bar, is located behind the main hotel. This is located in the section called Oz Resort Aqua.

The hotel has entertainment in the evenings. There are also dart matches at 1100 and air rifle shooting at 1600, plus entertainment at 2000 each evening.

I would rarely go back to the same place twice but this is one hotel I would go back to.

Good hotel for the money. Plenty of food options, clean rooms, friendly staff, free transfer to the beach with free use of sun beds and good location. Only issue for us was you have to pay for the WIFI and use of safe, additionally there is only one plug socket in the room and another in the bathroom.

The hotel is quite small but pleasant. I stayed all inclusive with a friend for a week in May 24. The rooms were on the small size but had everything you need. A little fridge, tea and coffee facilities and good wardrobe space. One single bed and one double bed in our room. Just the one plug socket in room and one in bathroom. WiFi was good. TV on wall but I could only find the news channels in English. Mattresses were hard but I didn’t mind. The shower inside the bathtub was temperamental. Hot one minute, cold the next. Good sized balcony. Pool area was very nice. Plenty of sun loungers available. It had one water side but that was only open at certain times of the day. The food was average but more or less the same every day. Bar area served various alcoholic drinks and very weak cocktails. Little shop on site too.

The resort is lovely. Beaches are great and there is a hotel shuttle bus that takes you there every hour. We walked and it took approximately 15/20 minutes.

There is a Burger King and a McDonald’s within walking distance too and plenty of shops.

The old town is beautiful. Gorgeous harbour and area with some ruins and historic places of interest.
