When we got there at 0130 we were met by the night porter Manuel who greeted us and took us up to our room. There was a Greek salad and some bread in the fridge which was a really nice touch.
Breakfast was standard limited selection but what u would expect from a small hotel.
Again the drinks where limited on the all inclusive but wie found tipple that we enjoyed and Stephi who was on every day was lovely and we had a really good laugh with her and other holiday makers there.
Here's the best part of the experience the restaurant, all I can say is amazing. Lunch was a selection from the restaurant menu and nothing was a problem and dinner was buffet style which was OK had a limited selection but again for us it was good and we didn't go hungry. What made this for us though is the restaurant is about 10 minute walk away and at the times for dinner\lunch they provided a bus from the Nek.
Dmitri runs the restaurant and is extremely passionate about the restaurant and the food they make especially the Greek food. It is a good idea to listen to his recommendations as he will let you know what is best that day.
Room was nice and we were on the road on the second floor but no disturbance from the road. You have pay for the safe in your room and the air con can't remember the exact amounts but it cost us about 70 euro for both which we thought was definitely worth.
Our room was cleaned daily and we got towels if we needed them but I know some people their rooms we're cleaned every other day.
Overall an amazing holiday and will definitely look to go back Eva at the hotel and Dmitri at the restaurant we're lovely all the staff were friendly and polite from the cleaners to the front facing staff will definitely be booking again thank you Thalassi
From Elaine @ Chris from Brighton
The rooms were very clean and even though we were told on arrival that due to Covid rooms would only be cleaned once a week we could get clean towels and sheets if we wanted . Our stay was 11 nights and our room was cleaned twice we were more than happy for this . Our room was big and had a nice balcony .
Breakfast was served at the hotel ams was lovely all very fresh .
Lunch and dinner was served at the restaurant which was about 8 min walk , we liked the walk but you could get the hotel shuttle . The setting of the restaurant is absolutely breath taking over looking the sea one of the best settings I’ve ever seen and I’ve seen a few . The food is out of this world all fresh , Dimitrios is so very passionate about his food explains a lot of what your going to eat . He has the best sense of humour ( I miss him a lot ) . Anthony , Maria , Micheal , Kyle work in the restaurant and bar and they are all awesome 👏 funny and make you feel like you really are on holiday and being spoilt I miss these guys too 😘
The beach is a little stoney but he water is warm we spent most days at the beach but 1 tip would be to take beach / sea shoes .
I definitely recommend this well run hotel , Eva is helpful and understanding of all individuals . The rest of the crew are just beautiful people too . I miss the hotel the food and most of all dimitrios 😂 . I will definitely return to this well run hotel and it’s a 5 out of 5 from me and my hubby and the other couple we were with .xxxxxx

Upon our arrival (which was late) we were greeted by Eva. There was a sandwich and a bottle of water waiting for us in our room which was a nice touch as we had had a long trip. The room was lovely with fantastic views of the pool and the sea. Breakfast is served at the hotel with everything set out in accordance with the latest Covid safety standards.
The pool area is a lovely place to relax and drinks are served by Eva and her team from the pool bar.
Lunch and dinner are served at the restaurant which is overlooking the sea and is absolutely idyllic. As soon as you step into the restaurant you are greeted by Dimitris who shows you to a table and explains the dishes that are being served. The passion he has for the food that is served is really clear through his mouthwatering descriptions and the food matches these easily. Despite adhering to all the Covid regulations, Dimitris has tried really hard to ensure that his guests get a feel of the Greek culture and his entertainment night was excellent.
I want to say a massive thankyou to Dimitris, Eva and Anthony for making us feel so welcome, to Mark for being so helpful on our first wander around - with advice about the sea and the drinks, to Michalis for superb service and making us laugh. I would also like to thank Maria, Seamatis, both chefs and everyone else that I haven’t mentioned, for the best holiday that I have ever had.

Eva and Dimitris and the rest of the staff /family made us feel so welcome, I would say this is the most relaxing holiday I have been on and will definitely be coming back.
Dimitris and Anthony took us on a local tour of the area which he is so passionate about and rightly too, although he called me the naughty boy we had a absolutely fantastic holiday. Many thanks, Jim, Jo and thomas, Jackie. We will return.
Brilliant staff Anthony, Maria
Michalis and Seamatis
Eleni and Vaso
And Mark a true Yorkshire man.
The hotel and rooms are clean, spacious, and very well maintained. The pool area was never too busy, there were always loungers and chairs available at all times during the day.
Eva, Dimitris, and the team really made the holiday for us. We have so many fantastic memories. We loved seeing how the ladies cleaning our room had arranged my son's teddy bears in different ways for his return. The restaurant, a short walk away, has some fantastic views of the sea and sunset. This is where you will find Dimitris and his colleagues who always gave us a warm welcome. Dimitris is a lovely man who is so passionate about his food, much of which is grown on the family farm. Nothing was too much trouble. During one night, early in our stay, Dimitris was telling us about a meat dish on offer and my wife happened to mention that she was disappointed that she couldn't try it as she doesn't eat meat. She was more than happy to eat the vegetarian dish on offer, but Dimitris was having none of that and for most evenings following he asked the chef to prepare a separate main course for her. It isn't something we asked for or expected but it shows how important it was to Dimitris and his team that we enjoyed our stay. Our 8-year-old son struck up a very strong friendship with Dimitris who would take him around the buffet to explain the dishes on offer each night after we arrived.
We all thank Eva, Dimitris, and their team for making our holiday so special after what has been a very difficult 18 months for us as I'm sure it has been for others too. We thoroughly recommend the Thalassi Hotel to others.
For the sake of my one week's holiday I decided to win him over rather than clash swords (I am female, a psychologist and recognise I'm not going to change a boorish chauvinist) So for my own self interest I played him, praising the food and his wonderful restaurant, which is a lovely setting and as we love Greek food that was genuine. Not every meal was good, but for the price excellent value. He loved the compliments and my charm offensive worked, being the egotist he is. But it shouldn't be hard work on holiday should it?! It was my holiday to be able to unwind and relax. So for that reason I would suggest there are nicer hotels in the area where you will be treated more hospitably, not just because you're a returning boozy all includer who smokes round the pool all day and who laughs when Dimitri tries to humiliate a guest for his own amusement. Somewhere other, where you are treated as one of the owners valued guests.

If you have paid to go all inclusive at this hotel then you are in for a shock!! Make sure you take plenty of money as you will need it. We paid £800 each for 5 days and what an absolute waste of money it was!!
If you’re expecting a typical all inclusive hotel where you are completely catered for and do not need to leave the hotel unless you really want to then this is not the hotel for you.
The only drinks included are house wine, beer, Ouzo and Raki. Drinks are one at a time and you MUST return one cup before you get another drink. The food is shocking and always cold, there’s about 4 options per meal, spaghetti, spaghetti, spaghetti or spaghetti. If you’re half board or self catering you get to choose from the a la carte menu which looks a hell of a lot better than the cold food we had to put up with. However we gave up on the second day and ate at the restaurant across the road and the coffee stop. Which I would highly recommend.
The restaurant is not going on the beach and there is no beach bar. The beach was washed away about 2 years ago. However the views from the restaurant are incredible.
The pool was absolutely disgusting and you got out of it smelling like dirty pond water. The sides of the pool were covered in grime and not once did I see it cleaned the whole time we were there. The beach is about 15 minutes walk from the hotel, I would recommend you go there instead of the pool.
We complained to jet2 on the first night and asked to move hotels - they couldn’t have been less helpful if they tried. My advice, just avoid this hotel!
"Don’t do half or full board because the food quality is definitely not worth the expense. Airport transfer is around 2 hours."Read full review
