I was just there and the pool was closed and they were painting the surfaces of the decking. I am not sure if it is heated.
You’ll have a higher chance of a lower floor room if you book a pyramid room (given the shape, there are more rooms on the lower floors than on the higher floors). That said, front desk folks are generally very accommodating as long as there’s something available that meets your needs. Check in early in the day may also help with your request.
