The natural gorge is worth a visit, easy trekking.
The only thing I would like to report is the price of admission a bit 'expensive, 11 euros for a helmet and insurance (perhaps).Also most of the explanatory signs were ruined and illegible.Perse need a replacement!

Siamo molto felici di sapere che vi è piaciuta la vostra esperienza sul sentiero Barranco del Infierno.
Come abbiamo detto nell'altra recensione, il biglietto d'ingresso comprende l'ingresso e la fruizione di una riserva naturale speciale, il noleggio del casco come misura di protezione contro possibili frane, l'assicurazione in caso di emergenza non coperta dalla previdenza sociale spagnola, i servizi offerti dal personale all'ingresso e dalle guide sul sentiero, tra gli altri. I cartelli informativi si deteriorano facilmente, essendo all'aperto e a causa del tempo inclemente, quindi saranno presto sostituiti e aggiornati.

Beautiful hike, nice trail. Departure in summer definitely before 10 am. Good organization, safe and friendly. Also doable with younger children. Nature is also well taken care of.

We raden altijd aan om zo vroeg mogelijk te boeken om te genieten van de stilte en de natuur in haar puurste staat, om de piekuren in de zon te vermijden, om wilde dieren te bekijken, enz.

Excellent walk up through the mountains, medium level steepness really, although the path is rather uneven ( to be expected), so do wear sturdy walking boots or walking shoes , trainers are permitted. Very well organised booking process, and we are glad we booked before we left the UK as limited times & walkers permitted &you do have to book your time slot. As others have said there is limited parking about 10 min walk below the entrance. One open free car park ( only 1 space when we went 08:30 on a Sunday morning) , one paid for ) 4.5- euro's all day ,You do get a reminder email ,with a map showing the parking. The waterfall at the end was flowing even tough it was June so definitely worth the trip . Mix of hot dry bright sunshine one side & tropical green areas through the other. We took 3 hours round trip walking and we weren't rushing - very enjoyable. You walk at your own pace and plenty of passing places for quicker walkers or others coming back

We are delighted that your experience on the Barranco del Infierno path was satisfactory for you, and that you have appreciated the real attractive of the special nature reserve, its contrasts in vegetation, landscape and biodiversity, as well as its unique and permanent waterfall.
We do indeed send information about the best parking area well in advance to all our visitors so that they can organise themselves. In addition, the route is of medium-low difficulty, closed and sport shoes are acceptable, and online booking is essential.

Loved this hike, we prebooked online for the 8:30 slot and took a taxi up there from Costa Adeje which was 11 euros, there is a bus but we were not sure of the timings, it is a fair walk from the bus terminus (a bus shelter in the middle of town, to the gate and it is up a steepish hill. We went back by bus it was about 1.5 euros I think. Anyway, arrived a bit early as they were opening up and once they had got fired up checked in, it was not busy so the guide said just set off once they had done the safety briefing, briefing mentions keeping your hard hat on (supplied) so you are less likely to get brained if there is a rockfall, also to stick to the path and that if it rained the guide at the far end would come out and bring you out with him/her, you would then get a rebooking or a refund, fair enough. Glad we went early and that it was a bit cloudy as I can imagine it can get well toastie if the sun is beating down. The path is well defined and easy to follow with steps here and there, you do need decent shoes as some bits can be a bit slippy underfoot and there are lots of toe stubbing

At the water fall end you are limited to 10 minutes if its busy but we were first there so don't think it matter, there is a guide there but I don't think they would hassle you if you wanted a minute or two more, there is a small pool but you cannot go in the water even if you are sorely tempted. The waterfall is high but the flow was low when we were there as I believe they have had very low rainfall. When you leave as you walk down the hill keep an eye out for a castle tower on the right, have a look it is really interesting it was a sugar refinery, tomato plant and the family that have it now are trying to keep it going and restore it, they had an art exhibition on and it is worth a look (free), the lady we spoke to was super friendly and informative it called CASA FUERTE DE ADEJE I believe.

The walk starts from the car park with a prohibitive climb that immediately challenges visitors. Then everything goes on smoothly, entering the ravine until the final cave where the waterfall suddenly appears.

The Barranco del Infierno impresses with its abundance of nature, breathtaking views and beautiful glimpses. The path is impossible to miss and friendly guides explain everything beforehand. Half a point is deducted because unnecessary stress is created in order to get as many people through as quickly as possible. But it is still worth it!
Note: Due to some of the high and uneven steps, it is not suitable for people with knee problems.

I have booked a walk for two people to take place on Tuesday 31st December 2019 at 11a.m; booked via your website.
However, I have been told that it is currently closed for weather reasons.

The path is currently open, it only closes when there are meteorological alerts, wind or rain.
If the weather is good, December 31 will be open normally. Every day around 8:30 we assess if the path is in optimal conditions to open or not, in this case we notify customers.

Una vez que hago la reserva, y llego al punto de encuentro, la ruta la hacemos solos??, la hora a la que reservo tiene que ser exacta??, y por último el casco lo proporcionan ustedes??

A su primera pregunta la respuesta es sí, es una ruta autoguiada.
La hora es fijada en el calendario para que no coincidan muchas personas dentro a la misma hora pero, es recomendable comenzar temprano para evitar las horas de más calor, pues si la temperatura es muy alta el horario de cierre es antes de lo normal. Es este punto le recomendamos que reserve y luego puede venir antes para comenzar temprano o llamarnos por teléfono.
Y los cascos son facilitados por nuestro personal antes de comenzar con la experiencia.
Esperamos que pronto nos vuelva a ver y cualquier duda puede ampliar la información en nuestra web oficial .
