De duinen zijn prachtig, maar het zogenaamfe naaktstrand is 'clothing optional'. In feite is 95% gekleed. Het voelt niet goed om daar naakt te zijn. Iedereen kijkt naar je en houdt zelf kleding aan. Geen aanrader!

Very well to walk the marked paths, a pity that people do not respect them and go where they want.

Lovely sandy beach. Sea was lovely and warm. Wear swimshoes if going swimming as there are a few rocks before you get far out. Also the sand burns your feet so they are a must ! We walked to the sand dunes, nothing to see but sand really.
People come around selling things whilst you are sunbathing, which is a nuisance. Paid 7.50 eur for 2 sunbeds and parasol, which was worth it, but when you have paid, you dont expect to be harassed by sellers. Also payment was by card only.
Walked along the prom, past the lighthouse and visited a few shops.
Lovely area, would definitely visit again, a lot nicer than Playa del Ingles

The beach is absolutely beautiful, with miles of sand dunes and plenty to explore. There is a walk you can do from the Dunes to the light house following the nature reserve path, it is mainly sand though. Please take a drink with you as it gets very hot. Breathtaking views!

The gay beach is now one kiosk #5 further along with rainbow 🌈 flags a few hundred yards along.you can’t miss it
Kiosk 7 was busy & frequented with mainly middle aged& older couples/solo mostly all nude. Sunbed+ parasol E7.50 card only. Kiosk has snacks/ice creams/ drinks/bar area with chairs and parasols plus toilets. There’s a big LOVE sign on the beach
If coming from Maspalomas lighthouse end of beach 10-15 mins walk, easier to walk along the shoreline than through the Dunes. Sand gets very hot. Take only your sandals/beach shoes to the sea when going for a swim in the sea. Naked swimmers and clothed people walkers all on shoreline, no issues.
Some couples left their sunbeds & bags for a bit to head into the Dunes behind kiosk for a nude afternoon stroll.

The most beautiful beach on the island of Gran Canaria....services and restaurants available, white beach with sunbeds and umbrellas at honest prices.

Attention to all visitors.
The beach chairs from the municipality are available for a fee on maspalomas beach, no problem its everywhere , we paid in cash, which is still allowed according to European legislation, but is normally only possible here with a bank card, which is not mentioned anywhere, but the collector did point it out to us using threatening language in a not so friendly way to be sure to take the card with us the next day, otherwise he would send us away.

Anyone know of any restrictions at the Maspalomas dunes regarding filming? I want to put up a table and a bunch of synthesizers and film a live set. Can I just do that wherever as long as I tidy after myself? Like are there any specific spots where I won't get chased away in the middle of my set?
All tips is greatly appreciated! 😊

Salve, per favore desidererei sapere se una persona non puo' camminare molto a piedi come puo' arrivare alla spiaggia dove ci sono le dune da superare? Possibile che non ci sia una strada o altro che porti con qualche mezzo a chi è impedito a camminare tanto a piedi? Grazie saluti. Salvo

My husband and I will be going to this Maspalomas Beach with two female friends next month. We want to go to the nude beach but away from the gay men's area - no issue with gay men, just feel that they probably don't want 3 naked girls and a naked straight bloke around them! Which part of the beach would be best for us? We just want to relax on the beach. Perhaps someone could give us a what3words location for the best area? Thank you!

The beach at kiosk 6 is a mixture of naturists mainly couples. Kiosk 7 consists mainly of gay naturists.

Por lo que para disfrutar de la playa con tu mascota sera necesario viajar una media hora en coche hasta llegar a la playa más cercana. Esta es la Playa de los Cuervitos y Tres Peos, que se encuentra en Vargas. Se trata de una playa rocosa de piedra volcánica, ubicada en un entorno natural que suele ser poco transitada.

Sorry but no idea... it's a crazy situation, making the beach quite unpleasant during strong winds when there are no windbreaks either... apparently there was some dispute about contracts that prevents kiosk opening...would guess it's about the money!

Yo estuve hace dos semanas, hacía mucho tiempo que no iba y no vi hamacas, aunque tampoco distinguí claramente la zona nudista, puesto que había personas practicando nudismo por casi toda la playa en buena convivencia con las personas que optamos por usar bañador.

Can any one tell me will it be sunny for 2 teenage kids to splash in the sea and pool through the
day.
Also any good hotels and is there plenty restaurants.
Seems like mixed reviews so after someo good solid info including places to eat .

we were there for a day end of January 2019.
Personally 1 day was enough. Plenty of eateries then. We didn't have children with us.The sand dunes are a nudist area. The weather we did need sunscreen and hats even though it was only 20-21 degrees the wind burn is to be aware of. Hope you enjoy.
