Wir waren Opfer der Wut und dem Frust von einige Katalanen, die wir leider auf dem Weg zum Mare Magnum getroffen haben. Wir kamen durch die schmale Gassen auf die Hauptstraße vor der Barceloneta und einige Frauen haben ihre Proteste gegen Touristen gegen uns gezeigt. Mein Mann ist groß aber er musste die Plakate, die die Frauen vor seinem Gesicht hochhalten wollten, aus dem Weg gehen. Es war eine feindliche Atmosphäre. Wie kann man die Fehler der Lokal Regierung drittens ansetzen? Wir sind kein Massentouristen, wir haben in einem Hotel in Sabadell (50min. mit dem Zug vom BCN entfernt) übernachtet.
Dieses Gefühl nicht willkommen zu sein, haben wir auch in Sabadell gespürt Zug. Wir kamen einen Tag vor dem Spiel “Deutschland vs. Spanien” während der EuroCopa und haben an der Rezeption des Hotels nach Möglichkeiten das Spiel in dem Hotel oder in einem Lokal zu sehen zu können. In das Hotel, nach ein paar Nachfragen unter dem Rezeptions Team, wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass wir in unserem Zimmer auf einem öffentlichen TV-Kanal uns angucken könnten, weil in das Hotel die Fernsehens kaputt gegangen seien und sie keine Ahnung hätten, ob man in der Stadt einem Ort gäbe, wo wir es uns anschauen könnten.
Wir waren sprachlos.
Danach haben wir erfahren, dass dieses Hotel pro Separatist sei und solche Events, nicht unterstützt.
Im allgemeinen war die Atmosphäre unfreundlich und freudlos, wenn es mit Begegnungen mit Touristen geht. Etwas ähnliches haben wir auf die Fahrt mit dem Teleférico 🚡 zum Montjuic erlebt, wo das Personal einfach arrogant und desinteressiert uns alle behandelt hat. In zwei Restaurants (Montjuic und Sabadell) waren die Kellner unmöglich unfreundlich und respektlos.
Also, ich war fast jedes beruflich einmal in BCN und wegen unseren Freunden waren wir oft und in der Umgebung da. Jetzt habe ich keine Lust mindestens dieses Jahr zurück zu kommen.

All in all, we were very satisfied.
Accommodation, transport were great, weather was great, food too, and we really liked the places we were in.
What disappointed me personally was one time when we had lunch.
There were four of us.
We walked down the La Rambla and decided to eat something in this restaurant.
The waiter was overly nice, so I thought something was weird.
When we got the food after almost 50 minutes, no one paid us any attention.
When we got the bill, the waiter simply wrote the total amount by hand on the bill without any ifs and buts and underlined "Service not included"
Basically, we were given something as a tip, but writing something like that without asking the customers is an absolute no-go in my opinion. I come from the catering industry and I would never dare to do something like that.
So, never again will I eat there!!!

Flight with Vueling (all arrivals + departures in T1/EW e.g. all T2)
Arrival at BCN airport, the airport is very large. T1 and T2 are about 4 km apart. After arrival, almost all arrivals via finger check-in (no bus shuttle), you get to a large hall with shops, over several conveyor belts to an arrivals hall where all arriving flights are. This is followed by a transfer with the Aerobus (approx. €13.50 there and back), the ticket can be bought online in advance. The A1 bus leaves from Terminal 1 and the A2 bus leaves from Terminal 2. Both buses leave the airport approximately every 5 minutes. The stops are not the same for the buses, and on the return journey the bus does not stop at the same places as on the outward journey. Our stop on the outward journey was Placa Universitat and on the return journey, Carrer Sepulveda / Urgell, the two stops are about 600 m apart.
It is ideal if you have a hotel near Placa Catalunya, all buses leave from there, the metro goes in many directions and the city buses (unfortunately there are no plans for the buses, not even at the tourist office). The Rambla is right next to Placa Catalunya, which you can walk along to the beach/Columbus statue, about halfway you reach the "Mercat de la Boqueria" market (absolutely worth it).
The Picasso Museum and the Palau Guell, both in the Bari Gotic district, are always free on the first Sunday of the month (you have to reserve tickets in advance on the homepage with the time).
Hotel Ronda House. Central location, the Raval district is a bit dingy, but also charming. The hotel is very clean, rooms very nice, breakfast OK.
You can get to Parc Guell directly by bus. The metro station is rather inconvenient. From Placa Catalunya you can take bus number 24 quite close to the park.
A ride on the port cable car (Port Cable Car/Teleferic del Port) is also absolutely worthwhile; you have a wonderful view over the port.
You can take the ride from the port to the mountain, from here you always have to buy a return ticket, or from the mountain (Jardins Miramar) to the port, here you can also buy a ticket for the one-way trip.
Hotel Ronda House is in the Raval district (a bit dingy), good location, nice new rooms, very clean, breakfast OK. Restaurants are all within walking distance.

We went to the restaurant after work today, the staff are super nice, but there is no paper in the ladies' toilet 😔, and the drinks are unfortunately not good 😏

L'hôpital Sant Pau doit être visité dans le cadre d'un séjour de quelques jours à Barcelone. Cet édifice monumental est un trésor architectural de qualité et le visiter nous apprend beaucoup sur le service hospitalier du début du XXe siècle et de la riche histoire qui y est associé. L'aménagement extérieur est aussi intéressant et donne une bonne vision de l'ensemble des bâtiments.

Hôpital ancien magnifique et restauré avec beaucoup de goût.
Dommage d’inclure une Fashion week dans ce bâtiment d’exception avec du personnel froid et peu souriant ainsi que plusieurs bâtiments fermés pour ces grands de la mode.
Encore une fois histoire et business sont mélangés et ne font pas bons ménage!
Par contre prix plein payé pour ne visiter que 2/3!

Impresionante todo el recinto, arquitectura modernista. Fuimos a ver las luces, las entradas para adultos cuestan 14€ y para estudiantes 12€. El recorrido por los jardines del hospital está todo muy bien indicado.
Para ofrecerte la experiencia más agradable posible, hemos limitado el acceso de los visitantes a 30 minutos. Por favor, preséntate a la hora de acceso que aparece en tu entrada accede de la media hora indicada. Ejemplo: Si has comprado una entrada para las 18:00 horas, puedes presentarte a la entrada entre las 18:00 y las 18:30 horas.
La taquilla cierra a las 21.30 horas. La última entrada en Les Llums de Sant Pau y en el recorrido circular es a las 21.30 horas. Por favor, ten en cuenta que, a partir de las 21.45 horas, el servicio de seguridad informará a los visitantes que todavía se encuentren en el recorrido circular del cierre inminente de Les Llums de Sant Pau a las 23.00 horas.
Opinión escrita en castellano por imperativo de las normas de Tripadvisor (NO Admitido EL CATALÁN) .Desde aquí reivindico que sea el Catalán, una lengua reconocida por Tripadvisor.
